๐ฌ Video 5 โ How to Troubleshoot a Failed Uploadโ
Goal: Deflect support tickets and recover users from the moment their analysis fails. A failed upload is the single highest-churn event in the funnel.
Audience: Users who just saw a "Failed" or "Try Again" state on Job Status.
Duration: 2 min
Thumbnail concept: Phone screen with a red "Analysis Failed" banner; overlay "Fix it in 60 seconds." Green checkmark on the right.
Scriptโ
[0:00] Hook โ 10 sec
(Face-cam)
"If your analysis just failed, don't delete the video. Nine times out of ten, it's one of four things โ and all four take less than a minute to fix."
[0:10] Four failure modes โ 1 min
(Cut to phone screen, walk through each fail-state)
"One โ video too short. If your clip is under 3 minutes, the app has nothing to analyse. Record at least a 3-minute rally."
(Show short-video error state)
"Two โ camera angle too low. The AI needs to see the full court, not just you. If you filmed from the baseline at waist height, re-record from the fence."
(Show sample footage from the right angle)
"Three โ can't see the ball. Low light, blurry video, or player in dark clothes against a dark court โ the ball tracker gives up. Shoot in daylight, use a bright tennis ball."
"Four โ network timed out. The upload started but the connection dropped. Open the app on wifi, pull down on the Sessions tab to retry."
[1:10] Retry in the app โ 30 sec
(Screen recording โ Sessions tab, failed session)
"Every failed session has a Retry button. Tap it. The app re-uploads the same file and requeues the analysis. No charge to your monthly quota."
(Retry button โ "Analyzing" state)
"If it fails twice, open Settings โ Contact Support. The app attaches the session ID automatically so we can diagnose it in under an hour."
[1:40] Close + CTA โ 20 sec
(Face-cam)
"Failed uploads aren't a you problem โ they're an environment problem. Fix the environment, re-upload, move on. If you want the full filming guide, watch Video 1. ๐พ"
(End card: "Watch Video 1 โ Record your first tennis video")
Recording notesโ
- Use a real failed session ID from your staging env โ don't fake the error state.
- Include a quick flash of the Contact Support form so users believe the loop closes.
- Don't apologise in the script. Fixes, not sympathy. "Here's what to do" beats "we're so sorry."
๐ฌ Video 6 โ How to Film Without a Fence Clampโ
Goal: Remove the "I don't have a tripod" objection. A surprising fraction of users never upload because they think they need special gear.
Audience: New and returning users who haven't uploaded yet.
Duration: 2 min
Thumbnail concept: Split grid โ four cheap mounting solutions (fence clamp, gorillapod, backpack strap, tennis bag). Overlay: "Four ways. Zero dollars."
Scriptโ
[0:00] Hook โ 10 sec
(Face-cam, player holding a phone)
"You don't need a tripod. You don't need a fence clamp. You need any surface that can hold a phone still for 20 minutes. Here are four that work."
[0:10] Option 1 โ tennis bag โ 25 sec
(Cut to: tennis bag propped against fence post, phone wedged in the racquet strap)
"Your tennis bag. Prop it upright against the fence, slide the phone into the outside strap. Works for any court that has a back fence. Height โ about 5 feet. Good enough."
[0:35] Option 2 โ water bottle wedge โ 20 sec
(Cut to: two water bottles on a bench, phone balanced between them)
"Two water bottles. Phone wedged between them, screen facing the court. Low angle, but it works for rally analysis. Not ideal for heatmaps โ the AI sees less of the far court."
[0:55] Option 3 โ car window โ 20 sec
(Cut to: parking-lot scene, phone clipped to partially-rolled window)
"If you drove to the court, roll your window halfway down, wedge the phone in the gap. Face the court. Free tripod."
[1:15] Option 4 โ a friend โ 20 sec
(Cut to: person holding phone, tripod stance)
"Last resort โ a friend holding the phone. Tell them elbow-locked, no panning, no following the ball. Five-minute rallies only so they don't get tired. Works. Not pretty, works."
[1:35] What matters โ 15 sec
(Face-cam)
"The AI doesn't care what's holding the phone. It cares that the phone is still, high enough to see the court, and pointed at the baseline. Pick one of these four, film 5 minutes today."
[1:50] Close + CTA โ 10 sec
"If you want the legit setup, there's a $12 fence clamp linked in the description. Until then โ bag, bottles, window, friend. Go record."
(End card: "Upload in the next 10 minutes")
Recording notesโ
- Shoot all four mounting options at the same court, same day, for visual continuity.
- The "friend holding" shot is the funniest โ lean into it. Make it feel like "nothing is too janky."
- Amazon affiliate link for the fence clamp goes in the description on YouTube, direct in-app link in the iOS/Android versions.
๐ฌ Video 7 โ How to Track Your Progress Over Timeโ
Goal: Convert one-time users into weekly users. The Pro-upgrade trigger is "I can see myself getting better." This video shows them how.
Audience: Users with 3+ completed sessions. Sent as a week-4 lifecycle email.
Duration: 2 min 30 sec
Thumbnail concept: Line chart with three points โ "Week 1" low, "Week 3" higher, "Week 6" higher still. Overlay: "The only metric that matters."
Scriptโ
[0:00] Hook โ 10 sec
(Face-cam)
"One session tells you where you are. Five sessions tell you where you're going. Here's how to read your progress in AceSense โ and which number to actually care about."
[0:10] Sessions tab โ 40 sec
(Screen recording, Sessions tab)
"Every completed session lives here. Tap the sort icon โ top right. Switch from Date to Accuracy. Now you're looking at your best sessions first."
(Swipe between sessions)
"Useful, but not the point. Tap Compare Mode โ it's the bar-chart icon. Pick any two sessions. The app shows them side by side โ accuracy, max speed, shot distribution, heatmap overlap."
[0:50] What to look for โ 45 sec
(Compare mode with two sessions on screen)
"Three questions to ask yourself:"
(Overlay one at a time)
"One โ did accuracy go up? If yes, you're placing shots better. If no, you're either hitting harder but wilder, or just having an off day."
"Two โ did the heatmap spread out? A tight heatmap means you hit the same two zones every time. Spread is good โ it means variety, which means an opponent can't predict you."
"Three โ did the report flag the same issue twice? If yes, you haven't fixed the thing. Go drill it โ see Video 3."
[1:35] The real metric โ 30 sec
(Face-cam)
"The number most players obsess over is max speed. Here's the truth โ max speed barely moves over months. You'd need a completely different stroke to gain 5 mph. What you CAN move in a month is accuracy and zone coverage. So those are the numbers to care about."
[2:05] Pro comparison โ 20 sec
(Screen recording, Pro-tier comparison view with 8 sessions in a line chart)
"On Pro, you get the full 8-week view โ accuracy line, every zone tracked over time. The free tier compares two sessions; Pro shows the trend. If you've been tracking for a month, upgrade and you'll see your actual trajectory."
[2:25] Close + CTA โ 5 sec
"Pick two of your sessions. Hit compare. Watch what moves."
(End card: "Pro trial, 14 days free โ acesense.io/pro")
Recording notesโ
- This is the only video that has a clear paid-conversion CTA. Don't bury it โ the end card should linger for 7 seconds with the Pro trial offer readable.
- Use a demo account that genuinely has 8 weeks of data. If you fake it, players will notice โ the progression curve has to look real (with a plateau, a dip, a jump โ real data is messy).
๐ฌ Video 8 โ How Coaches Give Feedback with AceSenseโ
:::danger Blocked script This concept depends on a public session-share link and browser view that the current app does not provide. Do not record or distribute it as current behavior. :::
Goal: Onboard coach partners. Every coach who uses the app becomes a distribution channel โ they recommend it to every student.
Audience: Tennis coaches (USPTA, PTR, independent). No prior AceSense experience.
Duration: 2 min 30 sec
Thumbnail concept: Coach on court pointing at a phone held by a player. Overlay: "Your lesson, 10x better."
Scriptโ
[0:00] Hook โ 15 sec
(Face-cam, on a court, coach holding phone)
"If you coach tennis, you already know the biggest problem with lessons โ your student can't see what you see. AceSense fixes that. Here's the 3-minute version of how you use it."
[0:15] Step 1: Get the link โ 30 sec
(Screen recording โ incoming message with AceSense share link)
"Your student plays a match or a practice session. They upload it. They send you a link โ that's it, you don't need the app unless you want it."
(Tap link โ browser opens the shared session)
"The full report opens in the browser. You see exactly what they see โ heatmap, shot distribution, stroke-quality notes, and Honest Gaps."
[0:45] Step 2: Review before the lesson โ 45 sec
(Screen recording โ coach scrolling through tabs)
"Five minutes before your lesson, open the session. Look at three things."
(Overlay one at a time)
"One โ the heatmap. Find the cold zone. That's what you're teaching today."
"Two โ the shot-type distribution. Are they hitting 70% forehands? You know what to rebalance."
"Three โ the report insights. Read them. Agree or disagree โ the student has already seen them, so if you disagree, you need to explain why."
[1:30] Step 3: During the lesson โ 30 sec
(Cut to: coach on court, pointing at phone, player listening)
"Pull up the analysis on court. Show the student the cold zone on the heatmap. Then run the drill that targets it. When the drill is done, upload that session โ tagged to the drill. Next week, you'll see the same heatmap with the cold zone filled in."
(Cut to: side-by-side heatmap showing improvement)
"This is the loop โ see the problem, drill the problem, prove it fixed. Every session is evidence."
[2:00] Coach dashboard โ 20 sec
(Screen recording โ AceSense coach dashboard)
"If you coach multiple players, the Team tier at โฌ49 a month gives you a dashboard. Every player's progress in one view. Tap any one to drill in."
[2:20] Close + CTA โ 10 sec
(Face-cam)
"The app is free to view sessions. If you want to run a program โ the Team plan. Link in the description. Tell your students to upload, and see what happens to your lessons."
(End card: "Coach partner program โ acesense.io/coaches")
Recording notesโ
- Shoot on a real court, with a real coach. If you're reading this and you are the coach โ great, you're the talent. Find one USPTA-certified coach in your network for credibility.
- Coach dashboard scene requires the Team tier to be functional. If it isn't yet, cut that section and end at [2:00]. Don't fake features.
