๐บ On-Set Teleprompter
Single-file HTML reader containing the four draft core scripts.
:::danger Do not use for a production take yet The tool itself works, but its content is not approved. Videos 1โ3 require a release-build rehearsal. Video 4 is visibly blocked because public session sharing is not implemented. The teleprompter is bundled behind the private docs auth gate; it is not an independently public asset. :::
๐ฌ Launch Teleprompter โ
Opens in a new tab. Works offline once loaded.
Featuresโ
- Four tabs โ one per core video. Click the tab at the top to switch.
- Font size controls โ
+/โbuttons in the header to scale the text for comfortable reading distance. - Focus mode โ hides the navigation chrome so only the script shows. Useful when the teleprompter is visible on-camera.
- Print to PDF โ click the Print button (or
Cmd+P/Ctrl+P) to save any single script as a PDF backup. - Keyboard shortcuts โ press
1,2,3,4to jump between videos;Ftoggles focus mode;+/โadjust size.
Recommended setupโ
- Mount an iPad or external monitor 6โ8 feet behind the camera, at the talent's eye level. This keeps the presenter's gaze natural.
- Open the teleprompter in Safari or Chrome full-screen.
- Increase font size until the talent can read it comfortably from their position โ usually 28โ36 px is the sweet spot.
- Toggle focus mode (
F) so the chrome disappears; only the script remains on screen. - Keep a physical printed backup of the script in case the device dies mid-take. Print each video as PDF from the teleprompter and bring them on paper too.
Script sourcesโ
All four scripts in the teleprompter are copied from Core Scripts,
but there is no automatic synchronization. If you edit that page, update
acesense-docs/website/static/teleprompter.html and re-run the docs build. Keep
the blocked banner until product review clears every demonstrated flow.
Extended scripts (Videos 5โ8) are not loaded in the teleprompter by default. To add them, open the HTML file, duplicate one of the existing <section data-video="N"> blocks, and paste in the extended-script content using the same beat structure.
