🎥 Video Thumbnails — Concepts + AI Generation Prompts

Concept prompts for generating candidate artwork. None is approved or evidence of a published video.

:::warning Validation state Generated images require rights, likeness, product-accuracy, accessibility, and brand review. Any UI shown must be replaced with a real release-build capture. Video 4 and Video 8 share-link concepts are blocked because the public sharing flow is not implemented. Confirm current channel specifications before export. :::

Thumbnail principles (CLAUDE.md aesthetic aligned):

  • Dark, dense, premium — not bright marketing-site colours
  • Emerald accent #CCFF00 for brand recognition
  • Monospace numbers where possible
  • High face-to-background contrast (eyes visible from 240 px thumbnail size)
  • Text overlays ≤ 5 words
  • YouTube spec: 1280 × 720, under 2 MB, JPG / PNG

🖥️ Post-generation workflow​

  1. Generate 4 candidates per thumbnail in Midjourney with --repeat 4.
  2. Upscale the winner at 2× in Midjourney or use an external upscaler (Topaz, Gigapixel).
  3. Open in Figma → add text overlay using the design tokens above.
  4. Export 1280 × 720 JPG at ≤ 2 MB (YouTube spec).
  5. A/B test primary vs alternate on YouTube — swap after 48 hours if one has > 1.5× the CTR.

🚨 Compliance check​

  • No real pro player likenesses. Midjourney occasionally produces faces resembling pro athletes — reject and regenerate if any celeb match appears.
  • No Apple / Google logos in thumbnails. Platform brand guidelines prohibit unmarked use.
  • No trademarked tournament visuals. Generic blue/green hard courts only — no Roland Garros clay patterns, no Wimbledon ivy, etc.
